My love for photography grew out of a desire to capture the landscape of human emotion, encapsulated in its raw, honest form. As a mother of two girls, I am often transported to scenes from childhood. Childhood is the genesis of emotional expression. Childhood is a time when the imagination is a means of psychological survival. When we transcend into adulthood, our imaginations are hidden from view, “reality” charting our course. Through photography, I strive to create a feeling from another time, a dream transporting the viewer down the rabbit hole, to an imagination abandoned. ~H.R.
